Most recently, Sio was vice president of customer experience and before that led the strategic and operational evolution of Ssense ’s Studio, which handles the company’s visual identity. Prior to joining Ssense, she held leadership roles at Walmart Canada and Holt Renfrew, with a focus on driving customer-centric, commercial strategies in digital commerce.
Haein Dorin has been named global head of marketing, a new post. She leads the creative, partnerships, editorial, social and marketing teams and is based in New York. Her focus is on driving brand awareness, fostering global community growth, and reinforcing the brand’s position as a cultural innovator. She joined Ssense in November 2023 as global head of partnerships, where she forged collaborations with brands such as TikTok, Volvo and Samsung. Before joining the company, Dorin held leadership roles at Highsnobiety and Condé Nast.
She reports to Sio.
“Ssense is a powerful voice in the global cultural dialogue. I’m thrilled to lead this unified team — spanning creative, partnerships, editorial, social and marketing — as we deepen our connection with our community, redefine the boundaries of fashion, and continue to push culture forward,” said Dorin.
Melissa Malik has been named chief supply chain officer. She takes over duties from Allan Lyall, who moves into an advisory role. Malik will oversee end-to-end supply chain management, including distribution and fulfillment operations, logistics, supplier management, and product and process ownership. Earlier she was vice president of global fulfillment operations at Ssense. She spearheaded a multiyear transformation of fulfillment capabilities, introducing automation, and re-platformed the company’s warehouse management system, resulting in faster order fulfillment, improved product availability, enhanced operational efficiency and increased employee engagement. Earlier, she held leadership posts in the U.S. and U.K. at Wayfair and Tesco.
Sio and Malik report to Rami Atallah, co-founder and chief executive officer of Ssense, and are based in Montreal.
